As you enter Beth Am, you feel a special welcome...a sense of comfort and acceptance that means you are home.

In Hebrew, "Beth Am" means House of People. For a generation, Beth Am has housed a unique group of Jewish families and single adults who enjoy the informality and warmth of our small, "user-friendly" congregation.

Congregation Beth Am is a family-oriented, socially conscious Reform synagogue that offers individuals and families in Bergen County a real choice.

Services are led by the Rabbi and Cantor in English and Hebrew. Beth Amniks demonstrate the deepest respect for the traditions of the Jewish people while maintaining a certain level of informality that lends itself to dialogue, friendship and humor.

Family Shabbat Services once a month at 7:30 pm
